Pros

It's been running for three weeks with out a glitch. Hopefully this drive lasts longer than the purple, because it’s flawless right now.

Seagate 4tb now records 12 days. Tb, it takes about 5 min to format. Upgraded from a 2tb to this 6tb. Purchased another to add more storage.

Easy to install into my amcrest dvrs. Works perfectly with my swann camera system. Absolutely zero problem with installation, it just works.

Cons

The seatools software is a joke to run tests on, those are always mixed results. The real issue is on my pc it only shows as having 95mb of free space, for a supposed 2 tb hdd. Definitely worthless customer service. All recorded data was lost when i t... Read More

So it works great for a reolink nvr as a second drive inside, but firmware only sees 8,192 gb.
