Pros
It's been running for three weeks with out a glitch. Playback is smooth with no losses. Hopefully this drive lasts longer than the purple, because it’s flawless right now.
Seagate 4tb now records 12 days. Bought this to upgrade the internal 1tb toshiba hdd that was pre-installed on my harbor freight cobra 8 channel camera dvr.
Cons
The warranty process for seeking a replacement is unreasonable. Failed to initialize out of box.
