Pros

It is a small form metal box with an unobtrusive light that indicates when it is operative, sleek looking and quiet in use. This hard drive is encased in a strong outer shell. Connect it to its own usb port on your pc.

This review is for the one touch 14tb hub. Sat next to another 2tb ext drive, the size difference is huge. Comes ready to use with windows, formatted as ntfs.

Cons

Tb hd is very slow at doing anything. Sometimes the drive seems to stall for about a couple of minutes when transferring large chunks of data to it. Bought the 4tb model but only 3. Tb so a massive 500 gb less storage.

Awful product. Very unhelpful. Not as advertised. Spoiler - it's not.

Never again seagate. The sound it's making is pretty loud compared to any other seagate external drive i own and the rattling is basically vibrating my whole desk non stop. It's extremely loud, to the point it's irritating to have it turned on.

As you'd expect from seagate sturdy item (i actually dropped it - it's fine, but wouldn't recommend that kind of testing).

Price

You always get what you pay for when it comes to computer products and accessories!

Good price have not used yet hence nothing more to say.

Overall, it's a good option for its price.

This arrived quickly and was well packaged.

Received the next day, bought on reveiws left.

I did select amazon packaging due to the nature of the item even checked with on line help who confirmed it had been added.

Competitiveness

This is the second of the same drive and capacity from seagate and would recommend it to anyone looking for an external drive.

However, the apacer feels more solid and reliable in hand, unlike the seagate, which feels more toy-like.

I will have to put it down to experience and perhaps consider using a high street shop for similar offers in the future.
