No bad sectors in my nas after 6 months.
One of the 2 i bought was noisy, had to return it and buy a replacement.
Instead of having 3 usb external drives i have replaced them with the 18tb internal.

This new packing seems pretty good, although the disks could move maybe a cm or so inside the container .
Some reviewers have put poor packaging and doa disks when delivered.

Arrived from us 7 days earlier than expected eta and the two hard drives came in a cardboard box inside which were 34frustration free packing34 cardboard boxes for each hard drive and some bubble wrap to stop the boxes moving inside the larger container box

If one piece of bubble wrap was used on top of the disk inside the 34frustration free package34 that would limit movement if a box was dropped

Preliminary checks and atto gives mid 250 mbsec speed and short seagate tests showed ok
