Pros

It's just the right amount of firmness coupled with the softness a baby would need. The corners of the mattress aren't too squishy, but are good and strong. Burt's bees sheet fits perfectly.

Cons

Newborns wear bulging diapers to further complicate matters. The mattress seems firm but an 11lb baby shouldn't leave an impression.

The mattress i received is not at all the one pictured. I was denied a refund or an upgrade to a different material. The box was damaged as well.

The springs creak with every move he makes. It reminds me of a cheap camp cot matress. You feel the springs, it's squeaky and creaky.
