Pros

This is similar to a mechanic or motocross glove. Protects fingers from getting smashed. Best part for de or lb is that they have grip material on fingers to palm in case they have to catch ball or pull in a fumble.

These are the best by far in terms of fit, durability, and overall protection. Worn them for several seasons with no tears or scuffs yet. My boy wears these at linebacker and guard position, and loves them.

Cons

Will not purchase these gloves again. These are apparently cheaply made trash.
