Pros & Cons
Pros
The seiko metronome is a beautifully designed tool for the musician student or professional concerned with identifying & learning the beat of time signatures. It has two woodblock sounds (one higher pitched than the other) - not that annoying, che... Read More
Great metronome for harp. Works, once i put in a good battery. This product is inexpensive, yet does the job.
Cons
It was received in a sealed amazon bubble wrap pouch but the product box was opened in the pouch. It is too late to return for a refund but i would caution you not to buy this product!
The clear pointer is practically invisible so i just use the quartz metronome lettering on the dial, which is aligned with the pointer. Dropping tempo by 6 bpm is not acceptable. The addition of the b-flat tuning drone is of no use to me.
It's nice and compact and worked perfectly until the knob that turns on/off on its side broke off. Either the metronome has a poor quality or i am extremely unlucky. Go ahead and zoom in on the display - terrible design.
Highlights
Quality
Easy to use and well made and accurate.
The unit feels solid and well built.
It isn't rechargeable and uses a 9-volt battery that should last a long time.
Unfortunately it finally stopped working but only because of rust at the battery attachment area.
Price
I am very pleased with the sound of this affordable metronome.
Great deal and is quite accurate and durable.
I bought it from another entity for $25 and now see that amazon has it for a $25 sales price.
It recently jumped from $26 to $45.
Packaging/appearance
The metronome is wrapped inside the box and it came with battery.
Competitiveness
Also, the price is much more competitive than the wittner, which is also almost twice as expensive at the moment, and having us... Read More
We initially chose the korg tm60bk for its attractive combination of features and price.
