Pros & Cons
Pros
It's indispensable for use getting the right amount of light with my strobes. The rant over, i find this meter very accurate and doing what it says it can with unmatched precision.
This meter allows me to utilize super range of isos w4and a flexibility of aperture and speed settings for varied effects. The hd cine mode is excellent in helping you get the best aperture and iso reading. The only downside is that the sync cable fro... Read More
Mr. Picky" this is all the meter you will ever need. This is worth every penny! Fácil de ultilizar. For the price, it’s good. Thanks sekonic, thank you.
Light is cumulative, so if you set up each light to do a specific thing, you need to know what each light is adding to the scene. As a inspiring amateur photographer i love it.
Any instrument that you can calibrate is valuable.
Cons
Feels & works like a $25. Took too much time for a normal field shoot. Looks like it was from the 99 cent store.
Highlights
Quality
Bought it knowing i needed a quality meter able to measure for flash photography.
Light and easy to use and highly accurate.
Light meters are sensitive instruments in a number of rather obvious respects.
The older unit 12yrs) display finally stopped working.
Price
Great affordable meter, covers most of my needs in photo and video.
Product is easy to use and as much as i did not want to buy due to price.

Packaging/appearance
Would have got a 5 star if package complete.
It was nice that it came with a protective case and a string to carry it around with.
Competitiveness
The 308 series is the most popular budget meter for good reason.
I have no use for the additional "bells and whistles" of the more expensive models.
The higher end consumer may leave your brand because of this.
I don't see the need to buy the more expensive model unless you need to meter a mountain, or are doing a lot of video.
