Pros & Cons
Pros
Dynamic mics are pretty quiet as compared to condensers. This mic sounds great and is built solidly.
Sennheiser is undoubtedly one of the finest brands in audio. It has clean, clear sound, excellent response yet stellar handling noise rejection. I suspect the nay-sayers here do not sing with this microphone.
Big fan of this mic over the shure sm58. Outperforms my sm58 and sm57, sounds warmer, better output.
Cons
Mic feels like it has a delay in it. If you want a mic for a speaking application, then this is the mic for you, otherwise, bla bla bla.
Highlights
Quality
Great sound quality once you can get it loud enough.
These mics are known for being high quality, good standard equipment.
I have used the shure sm58 since the beginning of time on my home pa system but this mic blows it out of the water.
I've dropped it a few times and after about 10 years it stopped working - just bought another.
Price
Great option for musicians on a budget!
These are great mics for the price, especially for live performance.
Could've probably turned the gain up to 80%.
Competitiveness
If you can't, this is still good, but it's noticeably not as good as the e935.
Comparable to an sm58 in terms of sound and application.

Dont expect to fully get away without some phantom power theres probably a better name for that if you dont want a little bit of noise w digital boost

You probably dont need much extra power though a cloudlifter may be overkill but nice nonetheless

I could be tempted by an sm7b or re20 but for the purpose of audio for internet distribution the law of diminishing returns is even more in effect

Not the greatest for metal vocals but it still works great if you eq it correctly
