Pros & Cons
Pros
Joe rogan's headphones are still going strong. All i've had to do is replace the earpads which started to flake. The ear cups rotate and allow the phones to fold up nicely and compactly.
They aren't active noise canceling, but they eliminate most outside noise. This is beneficial for critical listening and monitoring. The materials used are robust, making them suitable for both studio and on-the-go use.
The sennheiser hd 280 pro is a pair of over-ear monitoring headphones. Designed for professional audio applications.
Cons
The audio quality is so much worse than my $15 sony mdr-zx110s.
These are meh, just ok on the highs. An ugly example of engineered-in * obsolescence.
The foam and cover has essentially disintegrated around the ears. The earmuff are so small they smoosh your ears. Paul franklin's solo at the end is barely audible.
Highlights
Quality
I purchased this headphone for my dj controller, it’s been 6 years and i still have it happy with the high quality sound.
Amazing sound quality and comfortable to wear.
My wife gets frustrated with wireless phones and forgets to charge after use or unable to pair with her ipad.

Price
These are really great headphones for under $100.
What they do provide is excellent value for the money.
Granted, they will never sound like a set of meze elite aluminum headphones, but they also don't cost $4k.
I absolutely cannot express how thankful i am to find a pair of affordable headphones that actualy fit.
Competitiveness
The ear cups are also small, so if you frequently draw comparisons to dumbo, these may not be for you.
Unlike many competitors, that put over emphasis on either bass or upper frequencies, that eventually fatigue your ears.
They compliment the hd 280 pro's even more.

Going from headsets that didnt have proper passive noisecancelling to these took a few days of getting used to as some negative reviews have described i did feel a literal pressure on my eardrums completely independent from the pressure the headphones themselves were putting on my head
