The headphones have good sound quality, but a low maximum volume. The cable has a locking mechanism that forces you to buy their cable or third party cables that try to mimic it.

The comfort and quality of sound is so great.
Great quality product, that does what it says.
These aren’t noise cancelling at all, but these are not studio headphones so you cannot hold that against these headphones.
I've been heavy into headphones for the last 10 years.
Price
Hd400pro is totally worth extra $50 layout.
The price is a little high but i'm very happy with these 'phones.
If you really want the coiled cord and black badging then pay the extra $80ish dollars for the 400 pro.
Competitiveness
I gave them a direct comparison to my hifi he-560's and these were the clear winner in nearly every way.
He has an older set of sennheiser that he has been using with the yamaha electric piano.

I think the sennheiser do sound a little bit better, but they aren't nearly as comfortable for long wear.

As far as im concerned there is no real bias toward any part of the mix compared to car audio always being bass and home audio typically having very strong mids and vocals

And love the coil cord just hope you dont have to buy a new cord because of the twist lock on the phone side you cant use any cord you find
