Pros

The styling is modern and pleasing to the eye. The sound quality is amazing, extremely durable, comfortable to no end. No shoddy craftsmanship here. This is surreal.

In my opinion, bose headphones produce very clear sound. Even the mediocre sound card in my computer makes these headphones exceptional. They provide extreme audio clarity and quality.

It really is uncanny how comfortable they are. They are comfortable but kind of hard to lug around. Large, easily adjustable and fairly comfortable.

Very good bass and decent high range. Classical music sounds pretty decent on these cans, but again the highs are a bit harsh. The tone is lush and full, and i have yet to hear them hit frequency limits.

The only downfall is that noise leaks in and out of the headphones. They are open diaphragm phones, so that someone can still get my attention. The only downside is that the cable is a bit too long if you just want to ipod/iphone/computer.

Now for a price-biased bit: for this price, you can't get any better headphones.

The reason i bought ath-m50 was the amazon reviews and the price.

Long story short i ended buying these headphones refurbished for $40 including shipping.

Packaging/appearance

It's comfortable and really sounds great right out of the box.

They have a great sound but the only thing i don't like about them is how much sound they let go out of the sides.
