One thing to consider and i did read and know is that its a infra red which mean you cant block or obscure the line of sight between the headphones and the base

The only con is the ear plugs are uncomfortable after an hour or so of watching tv

With these i can hear things that others cant hear such as some of the background music other sounds in the background and most of all the tv is kept very low volume
