It has a deep, warm bass and clear high end. It's very well balanced and spacious, meaning the sound is 3-dimensional, as it should be.

The earphone muffs just snap on with a 10 degree twist and it's easy for them to come off when you are adjusting them. They are a flat cloth covered * which isn't very comfortable and gets hot after a little use.
