Blue led lights are just enough in the dark to let you see the contents without compromising your night vision. The light isn't overly bright and illuminates the safe well bed nicely.
It functions smoothly, consistently and reliably. Everything works as described. Worth the pice of purchase.
Firearm safe allows easy access within 2 seconds without fumbling for keys or combinations. Not anti-theft safe or fire safe but i knew that going in. The intention of such device is to keep house guests and children away from your firearms.

Ive given up on the biometric fingerprint reader it rarely works on the first attempt and frequently not even the third attempt

When you scan you finger you must place is all the way forward and slowly pull it back towards you running the ridge of your finger over the thin piece of metal that reads your finger

Either people are registering their finger prints poorly or just holding their finger still assuming its scanning the whole finger
