It is springs compressed and framed in and covered with some soft layers of foam, gel, pads etc so you don't feel like you are in prison.

This is an extremely firm mattress for the price, i got it on cyber monday deal as i needed a really firm mattress.

The delivery was on time, and they disposed of the old mattress.

My wife has slept in a recliner for almost ten years because of my restless leg syndrome where i constantly move my legs and rock i made her sea sick well motion sick but the first night she slept through the night said she never felt me move and i had to reach out to touch her to see if she was still sleeping in the bed
