They tray is pretty sturdy and looks nice.

This was one of the largest trays i could find at this price point and the wood is beautiful.
I needed a tray for my rather large ottoman i did not want to pay a lot.

Also looks great on a coffee table with books and candles
It looks exactly as it does in the picture (i got the torched wood version).

The wood is not as dark as in the picture it does not have a high gloss shine but the hardware on the sides gives it a more elevated look
