Pros & Cons
Pros
Compact and packable - keep spares with pantry or camping canned goods. Requires more muscle strength and coordination than my regular hand powered can opener.
They are so basic, so simple, they are resilient, reliable workhorses. Keep an eye on the blade. It fills over time and use.
Cons
The metal is cheap, hollow-like, and feels like it could be easily dented/bent. The edge that is supposed to puncture and cut the lid is blunt - no sharp edge, at all. The pivot rivet is too loose which allows the camming action to be reduced.
These are not the same! Flimsy, fumbley, loose and rattley. They struggle to stay on the can and even when they do they leave gaps in the cut (almost like morse code) they bend very easy if you a little bit of force.
Oh my, how disappointing. Made in china junk. Very sad. A terrible product.
Forget it. Would not buy again. Do not buy.
Cheap *. Total ripoff.
