There not tall enough to have by a cough to get the light but if you find a stand or a bucket to put them on it is

They are built for outdoor use the baseplates come with metal stakes to drive into the ground the cords are super long and the plugs have timer switches built in but i dont think they could handle any kind of adverse weather
