The common 18awg cable i had before got a little warm (and the pc draws less than 750w now), but this 14awg cable does not seem to do that.

The factory cord was much shorter and thinner which would cause the projector to get pretty hot

At 14 awg matches the house wiring so small appliances that plug into 15amp outlets will not overload this cord
