The common 18awg cable i had before got a little warm (and the pc draws less than 750w now), but this 14awg cable does not seem to do that.

At 14 awg matches the house wiring so small appliances that plug into 15amp outlets will not overload this cord

Perfect for plugging in a subwoofer that cant be placed near a power outlet or in my case for plugging in a file server to a ups thats not so close
