It is much easier to run cat5 cable then custom rs232 cables.
I use them at work and they're handy when extending serial devices with cat5 cables.

This was my mistake i meant to order a db9 to rj12 instead of rj45 so it is useless for my application

You will make a mistake and spend hours trying to get the wire out again only to give up and buy the removal tool anyway
