It is a bit complicated so i would recommend to start with 5 people (min number) to catch up with the rules.
Shadow hunters is one of my very favorite games, and i'm so glad it was re-released with the expansion included.
Definitely stick with the more characters edition.
The multiple factions with the neutral players having unique win conditions keeps you guessing.
Price
Couldn't believe the cost compared to local game stores awesome.

Unfortunately there isnt any other expansions out to correct this issue or to add additional characters

Add to that the fact that in addition to the teams of shadows and hunters whose goal is simply to kill the other side there is a third faction called neutrals whose goals are all different from one another with their win conditions being anything from being the first person to die to being the last person to die and even simply collect 5 pieces of equipment and suspicion can be cast on everyone

Additionally the game is quick to learn and the pieces are of good quality and so long as you do not mind the anime aesthetic of the character art and the fact that item cards here must be immediately used this game should provide an enjoyable experience

Pros the game is deeper than your standard werewolf styled party game there is actually a goo mechanical reason to reveal your identity in this game

If you draw a card from any deck during the game you must play the card
