Pros

Sturdy and very strong. Love ugly stik. Hopefully they last a long time.

This rod throws a half mullet and 4 oz lead with no problem. Great rod, as advertised.


Cons

The guides on mine are not uniform the bevels are not right on a few guides. Maybe a manufacture defect but was very disappointed in this rod. Nice gouge in the handle, lots of chips in the top coat.

Finally broke down and got a surf rod.

Price

This rod is great for beginner surf fishers at $69.

For the money the best rod i could have bought.

The last a long time and for the value.

Shipping

The 1st rod that was shipped got destroyed by ups was thrown away but the 2nd rod shipped was perfect.

Love the rod just shipping took longer than expected.
