There is an instruction paper inside the package box that tells you how to remove the links

You could also take this to a jeweler and they would probably take out the links for free or minimal amount

You must slide one of the special pins with the little arm on it into band before pressing it into the end of the fitbit

I made sure to follow the arrows on the band as instructed and the pins popped out easily

They give you arrows because the pins are wider on one end so they dont come out if you hammer on the wrong end
