Pros
Overall this machine is marvellous. I now enjoy keeping my apartment spotless. It's a god send with 5 cats and 2 naughty parrots so easy to pick up and hoover the seed confetti that the parrots like to throw having a tantrum.
I am really delighted with my shark ix201uk. Really pleased with it and have recommended to others already. It also has a 5-year guarantee.
The 40min run time is about right, without using the powered brush attachment.
It's lightweight and suction power is amazing. Decent suction. Works fine on hard wood/laminate flooring.
Cons
Terrible suction, the spinning head gets clogged very easily, battery life is poor. Takes me 5-10 times longer to achieve a significantly worse hoovering job than my old miele.
On carpets the roller slows down or stops. We have a dyson v10 and it’s light and powerful, but with this shark you have to pull the booster trigger all the time to get it to work properly. I have no allegiance or connection with dyson.

With the power attachments it brings it close to 20/25 mins and seeing as it's the main one you're going to use it's bit of a pain.
