Pros
Fits well on the vacuum cleaner and does exactly as advertised.
The roller part inside works perfectly and has a strong suction to lift flattened carpet pile on the stairs. Makes the stair carpet clean and look refreshed.
Anti hair wrap mechanism is not a idle boast. Brilliant for lifting pet hair from surfaces. Not as good as a powered spinning pet tool, but seeing as the shark vacuums have a lot of suction, it is more than good enough.
Cons
This tool has neither the brushing power nor the suction to get cat hair off our stairs. It's ok for normal dust/dirt but with anything more challenging i feel i wasted my money.

Personally think it should come with the hoover rather than seperately sold but so glad i purchased this.
My parents were asking if it comes with the pet tool, which it didn't - hence why i bought this for them.
Packaging/appearance
The only reason i needed a replacement was because the casing got cracked on the original so lost suction.

A few little niggles the capacity of the dust cup is small and the hose clip doesnt work to hold the hose in place in the upright position

I recently purchased a shark but i didnt realise it only came with a stairs brush which is pretty useless to be honest
