One thing i'm very grateful for is the sound. Much cheaper than handling the support calls and customer dissatisfaction. It's a personal decision as to which options and conveniences are worth paying extra.

The cleaning performance of the shark av2001 is quite respectable. I recommend checking it after every cleaning since it doesn't hold a lot. Unless your home is already pretty * and span, mine fills up!

Reviewer says it requires 250 minutes to vacuum my house, but will only recharge and resume once. It always runs out of battery even though it is set to return to base to recharge.

The app is terrible. It's not my wi-fi service because everything else stays on. The app loses the history and data collected and wants us to to restart the connection process, which it is unable to complete.

It is one of the slimmest lidar-based units on the market. It has difficulty identifying stairs, often getting hung up overhanging the top step. Very few homes have only one level so this is a distinct shortcoming.

The only way to get a hold of them is through their tier 1 customer service to escalate which have been escalating this for the following month. I continue to have no history of where it has cleaned, and no response from their customer service.
