Pros
Used this vacuum heavily on a combination of hardwood, tile, and carpet. It's amazing on hard floors, low pile rugs. The dual brush does a really nice job on the wood floors.
The suction power is outstanding! I always coil as soon as i’m done vacuuming and then dump the bin. I recommend this to folks that really need the lift-away and the ability to use the motorized nozzle to get under furniture!
I really am just still in awe how incredibly well this vacuum works even now a few weeks into owning it. My grandson uses one for his job and he convinced me to upgrade.
This vacuum is incredible! It looks nice too although who really cares about that.
Cons
Pretty disappointed in this upgrade. Very disappointing especially after paying nearly $400 for this. Sadly, foundationway continues to sell products on amazon and frankly, i'm surprised amazon allows them to continue selling.
After only 5 months of twice a week use the brush roll gave off a burnt rubber odor and seized up. Since shark now makes it impossible to disassemble and clean the brush head, i’m sure it was jammed up with dog hair. Perhaps this is great for professi... Read More
The canister is extremely hard to remove and place. The hose has no stretch and cinches back to its shape when slightly stretched. The wand is too short with only a small attachment, which is now stuck in the wand and i can't remove it.
It swivels too easily so it’s hard to keep it straight in a line. You need significant wrist dexterity and strength to steer it. Difficulty maneuvering this unit outweighs the good features.

This vacuum is really well-made; very sturdy.
The quality of this vacuum is wonderful.
I had a dyson ball and it quit working after a year, but it was so heavy and the wand was really stiff.
This should be renamed shark powerhouse, it is the strongest vacuum i’ve ever seen.
Price
It was so worth is not to cheap out on a vacuum cleaner because we have two dogs and carpet.
Save your money on more expensive vacuums and just get this one and assembly was surprisingly easy.
(i got at a great sale price and the last one, so did not try to return.
It is a good vacuum, but i will say i was expecting better for the price.

I received my shark az2002 an hour ago.
I liked the shark az2002 but i don't like when amazon prime hands off to usps it came a day late.
Packaging/appearance
Easy assembly (i didn't read the instructions, just put it together) and came well packaged.
The vaccuum received did not come in a shark box and some of the white print on a button was rubbed off.
The items very good the box was a little tore up and i used it for cleaning
Competitiveness
I loved my dyson so i was skeptical of switching to a different brand but i am so glad i did!
Rugs we had previously swept with other sweepers did nothing compared to this one.
We’ve been using another vacuum cleaner and it picks up nothing compared to this one.
I was thinking shark would be better than the cheaper vacuums i had been using.

Pet fur can interlace between carpets and fabrics but this will pull it right off
