Easy to clean and easy to remove the bagless canister. Weight balance makes vacuuming less strenuous. Only downside is that the canister isn't very big so you need to empty it fairly often.

After about a year the brush would stop spinning while running.
Price
Maybe if the price was 30% lower we would think of it more like "buy a new one every year".
And the cost to replace them is more than the vacuum.
Competitiveness
I had a dyson stick vacuum which worked fine but no better than the shark.

If there are any crumbs near the wall it will pick it up instead of pushing it more into the wall

It is so easy to remove the canister and dump the unit but one of the best features is the weight balance of the unit as the centre of gravity is low and this makes vacuuming less strenuous very important for my wife
