Very much worth the expense, if it holds up!

I couldn’t convince myself to spend $600 on a dyson and i was attached to my 10 year old babyliss portofino.

If you are on the fence about the value, make the purchase.

My wife didn't completely remove one of the packaging material and it really affected the performance.

Make sure you completely remove all the packaging materials before use.

Additionally it has a big boxy part (see pic) on the cord which just adds to the annoyance.
