Pros

I ordered this on black friday and it was delivered tuesday. It works great, just what i expected from a shark product. I'd prefer it in cream or gray.

The shark air purifier is very quiet and efficient. It's super quiet compared to other filters. The automatic mode makes it even more quiet. It’s also a bonus that it can work as a white noise generator.

It's not very heavy, fits nicely on top of the shelves, and has a modern look. Attractive and mostly unobtrusive. Doesn't clash with my bedroom decor. Perfect for toddler's room.

The auto run feature really eliminates the need for a remote. It also has a child lock function. It is pretty much set and forget in the auto mode, which is the easiest mode to leave it in.

Cons

The auto setting is far too aggressive. My home is clean but with 4 dogs, the hint of dog smell is in the air sometimes and i hate that. The problem seems to be with the sensor.

Best air purifier we have ever owned.

This thing is great at reducing odors and quickly gets rid of any smoke that may be created by the wood burner.

The unit comes off and on based on dust, forced air furnace output and even the presence of our cats chasing about.

It really does detect poor air quality and kick on as needed when you use the auto feature

Price

This was an expensive purchase and i think everyone needs air purifiers in their home because our air quality is so important.

Got it on black friday for a bargain.

Replacement filters are a little pricy, but that’s part of the cost of keeping 4 dogs i suppose.

Packaging/appearance

Plugged in to the receptacle when we got it out of the box, works just fine, takes care of dust like you would not believe.

Competitiveness

I like this one better than the honeywell one i have.

Even on high the machine is quiet compared to others i’ve tried.
