Pros

House smells like nice pellet grill smoke but not horrible or the house is on fire.

Bought one of these in november 2023 and a second one shortly afterwards. Ok yes it's big but it's awesome. Still ok but a little overpriced.

On the auto setting, it is much warmer now. It is well-tuned.

The shark hp 232 does an excellent job of controlling the flow of air through the unit. It measures the air quality and adjusts the air flow up when the air is poor. Cleans the air quick and effectively.

Cons

The unit stays in eco mode doing nothing at all. The fan runs, but does nothing for the air. The auto mode sensors are just really ineffective and terrible.

The only positive is that compared to the other brand, it is much quieter. At their high price, this is unacceptable. This is truly unfair.

Made a big difference in our air quality!

The air purifier is great as soon as we put it on it started working and we smelled the difference in the air immediately.

Used it for a couple days and noticed that the machine was reading my air quality dropped to 85, it was 100.

Price

This was an expensive purchase and i think everyone needs air purifiers in their home because our air quality is so important.

This is a well priced consumer product that works great for most needs if you are looking to pull particulate matter out of the air.

I previously had a tower shark air purifier, and while i loved it, the filters cost $100 every 5-6 months.

I saw these at a local store, cheaper than amazon so i bought one.

Competitiveness

None that we have tried previously are as effective as the shark.

The latter is much larger and very loud by comparison and just does not work as well unless i run it on high nonstop.

I have tried several other expensive brands including blueair.

I may purchase a 2nd one to replace another brand that i have upstairs.
