It does an outstanding job on hardwood floors and carpet. It works good on the throw carpets but wouldn't be good for wall to wall carpet. The lowest level is good enough for maintenance, especially bare floors.

Shark vertex pro is supremely good. The adjustable suction levels are great. The suction is adjustable but low works great on the floors.
Cons
The battery life is abysmal and the suction is extremely bad. When this first battery dies we are sh*t outta luck. Get a dyson. The dyson is too expensive.

I love everything about this vacuum except the fact that if you have anyone in the house with long hair then that hair will wrap around itself in the collection area and then when emptying it you have to pull it off with your fingers

If i wanted to really be nitpicky id say the dust collector could be a little bigger and i wish there was a way to stow the accessories
