Pros
I like the odor neutralizer, as it leaves behind a pleasant smell. I am very sensitive to fragrances and the little cartridge that comes with the vac smells really good.
On hard floors, the battery lasts longer. I am sure the battery already has the charging circuit, it's just a matter of adding a multifunction smd led, light pipe and button to the circuit board.
The shark cordless works great on hardwood, tile, rugs, carpet. My wife says its suction seems to be better on laminated floor vs carpet.

This vac is awesome. The folding feature of the vac is a great way to store the vac. This vaccum makes living with her a breeze.
Cons
The filters on this are tiny and get so dirty every time you use it that you must take the unit apart and clean the filters otherwise it will not *, overheat, and shut off. The battery only charges to 80%. Thank goodness for the warranty however, beca... Read More
Nothing on this vacuum is replaceable. It * decent but that doesn't override the negative. This vac costs over $400!

It’s easy to use, lightweight, has nice attachments and overall feels solid when using.
Battery lasts forever—dyson would only last about 10 minutes, this thing lasts forever.

Price
This is a lazy attempt to get people to buy $15 cartridge refills for a pointless feature.
I lost my dyson and couldn’t bring myself to spend another $600 on a new one.
- spare batteries are not readily available, and are very expensive.

I chose this shark stratos after comparing with dyson (at ~twice as much $).
