Pros

Never clogs. Easy to release for emptying. Great because you don't get stale vacuum smell after you use it.

It quite easily glides over the rugs and the canister is easy to empty. As you can see, the pile of my carpet is sort of a mini *.

Cons

This vacuum has great suction, but of all the sharks i have owned it is the worst for other reasons. This vacuum comes in 3 pieces and not a single piece locks in place!

When vaccumming the steps, the brush is the what i usually use but have to hold the attachment in to use it and end up pinching my fingers. The wand/hose attachement is too heavy. There was no brush for the floor, or small brush for baseboards. The br... Read More

The lift-away middle-section is more harmful than helpful. The upholstery attachment is useless on anything except a near-flat surface. It comes with an add on to carry one attachment and that is very inconvenient.

It is quite heavy and difficult to navigate, especially on carpet. The suction is so hard on higher pile carpets that it’s very hard to push. It's very heavy and was really difficult to push on the medium pile * carpeting even though i had it on the l... Read More

Excellent vacuum with very powerful suction in spite of its small and lightweight size.

It’s easy and lightweight to use and does an incredible job of getting up the pet hair and anything else.

The brush automatically stopped rotating so that it wouldn't pull anything unwanted up into the device.

Everything else about it is so annoying having to hold the whole thing while vacuuming with the wand.

Price

It’s a terrific value for the money.

Competitiveness

I’ve had other brands of vacuums and was never as happy as i was with shark brands-so i came back.

At one point i wanted a lighter, bagless vacuum so i bought a bissel which i thought was okay.
