I went round with the dyson yesterday (i have a cat) but just tried the shark and i feel like such a slattern!
Packaging/appearance
All the packaging is recyclable which in this age of polystyrene is a welcome change.
Also love the packaging it came in, not a single plastic wrapper, everything paper.
Competitiveness
This model also has a much better edge clean than the 2021 model.
Performs more efficiently than my supposed previous top of the range model.

Realised it didnt have hair wrap technology after it got clogged due to sons long hair and its a bit of a palaver to cut it out

The only faults is the magnet holder for the tube doesn’t stay connected is not powerful enough and the air out vent on the hoover is positioned at the front so you can find yourself chasing hair and light dust around

I have a thick pile carpet runner in the living room and its impossible to get all the bits off it

There are areas on the pod tat allow storage of some accessories such as the narrow nozzle and the uphosterybrush cleaner but not the small roller brush for the stairs which is a shame but not really a problem

The hose clip the holds the hose to the body of the vacuum is t very good and it pops out
