After testing the vx3 x1918 battery i attempted to use it in my shark model 1945z vx2 because no one makes a battery for that unit any more

The battery compartment on the vx2 is significantly smaller than that on the model 1950 vx3 so it wont fit physically

This requires drilling an access hole in the vx2 upper case and soldering more wire onto the connector from the circuit board

I would charge it after every use and i noticed that even though i had charged it the sweeper was struggling to work on our rugs but still worked fine on the tile and hardwood then it just flat out stopped working on the rugs and yesterday it died all together
