Pros & Cons

Pros

Believe the hype. This shark duoclean is a beast. I find it fills up pretty quick.

Emptying the dust canister is simple and hassle-free. If you get a big clot of something it's not that hard to empty the canister from the top or the bottom.

It cleans pretty amazing, hardwood floor and carpet, don’t see anything left after all. Everything we clean with it feels well-cleaned afterwards. This is the biggest benefit for my husband, because he is allergic!

The swivel steering is a nice touch. One of my favorite features of this machine is the swiveling base, which makes the machine more maneuverable.

Cons

Bottom unit of the vacuum is not covered under warranty. Biggest problem is that it's really hard to maneuver, and it hurts my wrist. Just beware of warranty issues with shark.

Quality

Quality is outstanding, best part this vacuum performs as advertised so i don’t see how it can get any better.

I am happy with the performance of this vacuum.

It works well, but with the cord and being so heavy, we end up just always going with the dyson for stair duty.

I wanted a version of my 9 year old rotator professional with the zero m brushes.

Price

Better than my old dyson , by the way would have cost 2/3 of the price to repair vs just buying this unit new .

Competitiveness

The only negative is that the dirt reservoir is smaller than comparable vacs.

This one does still get a few strands here and there, but it’s wayyyy less than any other vacuum i have ever had.

The see-through cleaning pod snaps onto the wand near the base, which puts the weight down near the floor.

The vacuum was the absolute worst for stairs or upholstery because if you tried to use the hose it would pull the whole vacuum over
