This blender creates a smoothie consistency because of the all over blade design. This product does an excellent job of blending. I love the personal cup, the blades are great!

Since day one, it smells like it is burning rubber. Cracked almost immediately - within days. No way to do a warranty claim on website, so called customer service number.
