The display is easily legible and the lowest of the dimming settings suits her well. Other then the brightness its a great clock. I am getting used to it but first day i was bothered by brightness.
This is theeasiest clock i have ever used. Large font and large button sizes.
Cons
It lights up when plugged in, but i cannot set the time. Dimmer is not much of a dimmer.
This thing is absolutely useless a year into use. Decent clock but only lasted me a few months. Now it is out of warranty and i can not get a refund.

I didn’t want one that had a usb port for charging my cell phone because i usually shut my phone off when w go to bed and i also didn’t want one with a night light for the same reason i chose the blue display and not red

Its a bit too bright for me and acts somewhat like a night light over in that corner of the room but im far enough away from it for it not to be much of an issue

There may in fact be no way to reconcile extra large led digits with a display as darkened as id like it
