Did a quick soak with some soap and then ran the wand over the fairly large stain.

I'm very happy with the performance of this device.
I saw this product on nhk world's tech show "great gear" and was pleasantly surprised to see that it was available on amazon.
If you are a bit messy, or you have some clothes you love but don't wear because of some stains, i recommend this product.
Packaging/appearance
The idea is that the waves are able to break up deep set stains on fabric which can then be washed out in the laundry.
Just power up, press and move it on the stain- which will break up some stains right there- and then throw it in the wash.

I know from my own experience that scrubbing an old stain with a toothbrush is not very effective and the fabric may be damaged

When there is enough water the otherwise silent cleaning head makes a tiny noise and visible water vapor rises up

For those who havent seen this in action it looks like a big marker except the tip is an ultrasonic head that focuses sonic waves
