I bought this on behalf of my parents i worked in broadcast engineering for many years so to my mind the picture is shocking in sd any freeview channel less the main 5 kids bbc even my parents could see that their big old 32 crt had a much better picture this has been the case with any other led tv ive seen but my parents only watch the main 4 channels anyway so if you stick to them in hd the picture is quite good

A good feature is channel renaming so i could move the main five channels in hd up to numbers 1 to 5 in the guide otherwise you have to scroll down to 101 105 to find them

We nearly did not buy this because a review said that was no scart connection so we didnt think my parents would be able to connect up their old pvr
