The door opens and closes with just a light touch (thankfully) the 30 second button is fabulous. The touchpad is great and easy to use. The only drawback is the front control panel doesn’t light up.
One touch to heat some frozen bread, two something thicker. It is simple to use and has lots of short-cut features that makes heating up food quick. Had my last sharp carousel 1100 watts microwave for 17 years.
Cons
Watt unit has less than 3/4 of the power our old 1100 watt unit had. Radiation was registered at 135 mg (milli gauss) back of microwave was dented, particles of packing material was stuck between glass on door.
Hmmm, ok fine. Then of course the warranty is *. The new sharp carousel is obviously not the quality of the old one.

The light in the oven if it goes out can only be replaced by taking the oven apart
