Pros & Cons
Pros
The stone is bigger than i would have imagined and that is a plus. The rubber guards are really nice. Excellent quality and a generous size. Everything is well designed and works together nicely.
The bamboo base is very sturdy and its non-slip base works very well. Comes with a bamboo holder with a solid rubber grip so it stays when sharpening and also rubber molds. Firm and sturdy base to work with.
Double sided sharpening stone is just the job, and very competitively priced. It also fits me other sharpening devices (mostly drag trough 2 angled stones) my turning chisels are sharper than i have ever got them before.

Highlights
Quality
The quality is superb and the addition of a file guide was a nice surprise.
The quality is outstanding though, and it's so easy to see what side i'm sharpening the knife on.
This is a whole different class of product.
So far i have spent roughly three hours trying to refine my technique with the stones.
Price
Amazing stone for a nice price !
Packaging/appearance
The packaging that these arrived in definitely protected them in transit to my home.
Competitiveness
Should last just as long as the more exensive ones if used and dried properly and a little bit of care taken with storage.
Rubber base is good when used on a worktop however i found the wooden base while it looks good it did shift around for me while sharpening.

This combination stone is a joy to use and perfect to touch up or maintain the edge on already sharp blades but you will also need something coarser to repair any very blunt or damaged edges

The knife clip for keeping a set angle was a great idea but it makes highpitch screeching noise against the stone when i tried to use it in the end i had to do without cause otherwise it sounds like nails scraping a chalkboard and very loud too
