Pros

The stones are top notch. Really great for the money. Awesome value. Very pleased. Customer service is great, though.

A sturdy bamboo vase and some decent wet stones. Comes with instructions, which is great for beginners. Sharpened a dozen knives as a beginner. Four grits from fixing a chipped knife to the final polish.

Sharp knives are essential for work in the kitchen. After sharpening your kitchen knives do not throw them in the sink with other silverware when washing. Even my shun cooking knives are sharper than ever before.

The set includes stone to maintain the flatness of the sharping stones. Several grits of stone edges with a guide to set the perfect angle make sharpening any knife a breeze.

This was a gift and box was totally destroyed.

I want to get a set of diamond plates to compare since all the pros say that’s the way to go.
