Pros

Keep the lid on to keep from drying out. I have some distributed throughout the house to make it convenient to label things such as furnace filters and in the garage/attic for labeling boxes, etc.

Sharpie is and forever will be #1 in the permanent marker game. The kids always have some poster board project, or sign that needs writing. Not one part of the markers seems cheaply made or exhibits where sharpie has cut corners.
