Pros & Cons
Pros
These sharpie acrylic paint markers are fantastic. If you like experimenting with different markers, these are fun and unique. These are the kind of markers i wish i had during my youth.
It feels like i am drawing/coloring with butter. Coloring is consistent, just let fully dry in all areas for a few seconds to avoid smearing. No smear. The colors are very vibrant and they take about 30 seconds to dry.
Smooth tipped pens are above standard and they make me excited about art again. There’s no streaking on paper and it does not bleed through.
The colors are bright and lively, making doodles and crafts way more fun. Very vibrant… i hope they come out with more colors!
These markers have a really nice paintbrush like tip. We use brush on sealer because it protects better for our outdoor projects. It is very similar to using a paint brush without all of the cleanup.
Cons
These are basically not much different than the crayola markers i used when i was a kid. They do a decent job of not bleeding through paper, but other than that, i'm incredibly disappointed. Additionally, that bullet tip looks a lot more bullet shaped... Read More
Highlights
Quality
Good smooth paint release and the colors have good concentration.
The final quality does look like paint and makes writing crafts much easier.
I wrote on a metal jar i did not seal , after a week the colors rubbed off.
This sharpie product is not the be all and end all of markers.
Price
The price is good for the 5 pack.
Packaging/appearance
They didn't bleed through the envelope that i tried these on, and the colors were easy to layer and highlight with each other.
The photo shows what they look like just out of the package.
I bought a pack of those other acrylic paint pens but found myself having to keep recoating the lines to make the color show up.
Competitiveness
Also, they are similar to regular markers when coloring large areas in that they leave streaks that show where your strokes overlapped.
It is very similar to using a paint brush without all of the cleanup.
