The barrel is roll proof. The caps snaps on tight and stays on. The tip is durable. I like the flattened shape that stays wherever i place it.
Cons
Sharpie pens smear on ziplock bags. They smear on supermarket (check-out) plastic bags. These have a stronger odor.

These have the good chisel tip which is big enough i can write on surfaces but not so thick that makes it difficult to see or to write on something smaller

Then i wrote on a plastic bottle i use to make a cleaning solution—it was wet with the solution when i wrote on it—and the sharpie did just fine wet plastic bottle test check although some did come off on my hands so perhaps the drying time is needed for a longer period

They will write on just about anything

When they say permanent they mean permanent so keep them away from anyplace that you dont want permanently colored
