The metal barrel has a good weight and feel to it. The grip is superb. The pen is ready to go and delivers a smooth feel. The ink pens are fantastic-per usual for the sharpie brand.

Refills cost more than a pen and the blue ink is not available in the 12 pack.

I've got about 5 of the 12 in the box floating around my office and have not had a single issue with any of them.
